Gen-IT is the departmental event of Information Technology department of SGGSIE&T which was established to help prosper skills of the students in the area of Information Technology. It is comprised of mainly three events - C-Brain for programming in C, PPT for exploring the presentation skills, and last but not the least Java Storm for programming in java language.

Gen-IT provides an excellent platform for the students to crave for new things in IT and helps them unfold their strengths and new skills .

Exploring Textile Future

Texplorer is aimed at fostering interest in research work and presentation skills among students. The participants can choose one or more topic/theme and prepare a presentation covering all the engineering aspects of the topic.

This event is also facilitating the showcase for the other disciplines of Textile as like Fashion Technology and Technical Textile which gives opportunities to the student to know more about Latest trends of Fashion Technology & Future of Textile & their wide application.
